Voting Information
On January 17th, The American Book Center will kick off our 2008 Voter
Assistance Program for U.S. citizens living in the Netherlands with a
Voter Assistance Evening at the ABC Treehouse (Voetboogstraat 11, 1012XK,
Amsterdam). U.S. citizens will receive non-partisan voter registration
assistance from 7-9PM, with a special presentation by the "Votemaster" at
7:30PM. The Voter Assistance Program is offered as part of The American
Book Center's ongoing commitment to community service through our
not-for-profit cultural centers: The ABC Treehouse and ABC Treehut
On hand to assist voters on January 17th will be Alfred Boll, Consul and
Chief of American Citizen Services at the US Consulate in Amsterdam and
Donna DuCarme, certified Voting Assistance Officer with the Federal Voting
Assistance Program. Andy Tannenbaum, known as the "Votemaster", who's
website is world famous for helping us understand
polling data and the electoral voting process, will offer a short
presentation and Q & A session. Two weeks after the first caucuses, and
less than three weeks before "Super Tuesday": where does your favorite
candidate stand in the polls? Ask the "Votemaster" on February 17th,
2008.
Founded in 1972, The American Book Center is an independent
bookseller (American and English books), with retail locations in
