The American Consulate is the Consular Section of the American Embassy in The Hague. Only the Consulate in Amsterdam provides Immigrant Visa services.

Or you can call our Immigrant Visa Unit on 020 575 5331 or 5333, from Monday through Friday*, mornings only from 8:30 to 12:00 AM. Our Immigrant Visa staff can only help with information on immigrant visas, permanent residence and green card matters.
*Except every last Wednesday of the month, when the Consulate General is closed to the public.
Visiting the immigrant visa unit
You can also visit the Consulate for immigration purposes, e.g. to file a petition for a relative. You do not need an appointment but walk-in immigrant visa services are limited to three afternoons a week:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons**, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM.
The Consulate is closed on U.S. and Dutch holidays.
