U.S. Consulate General Participates in Expatica’s “i am not a tourist” Fair

October 24, 2011,  Expatica's annual “i am not a tourist” Expat Fair offered free resources, information, networking opportunities and entertainment to internationals living in the Netherlands on Sunday, October 23, 2011, at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, and the Consulate General was right alongside them to offer information about all of our consular services.

More than 80 other companies and organizations were also available to offer advice for expats still finding their way in the Netherlands, covering topics as diverse as employment, housing, relocation, taxes and banking.  In addition, approximately 35 groups, clubs, schools and universities gave captivating seminars about their campuses and study.  Visitors attended informative presentations on the 30 percent tax ruling, job hunting, mortgages, and how to succeed abroad.
