The U.S. Consulate General is pleased to announce the start of a construction project to improve several features of our building, including public access. At this time, we remain open for business as usual although there will be some disruptions. The construction work will take place during business hours and we want to advise all visitors in advance that on occasion there will be some discomfort and noise associated with the demolition of existing structures and the construction of new facilities.
We would like to request that parents with babies and young children take extra care when visiting us, and consider that our youngest customers may be more susceptible to construction dust than adults. We in turn will try to minimize the noise and building intrusion as much as we can.
