Passport-by-Mail Service

In an effort to better serve American citizens living in The Netherlands, the Consulate General is pleased to announce that we have received authorization from State Department to accept passport applications by mail.  This service is restricted to those applicants, who under the Code of Federal Regulations, are not required to make a personal appearance at the time of application.

Effective February 1, 2008, it will be possible to renew an adult passport, apply for additional visa pages, change your name [through marriage or divorce] in your passport or replace an emergency passport by mail.

Please select your specific passport service from the menu on the left and read the requirements for passport services by mail carefully.
