Temporary of Emergency Passport
If you hold a valid temporary or emergency passport from any eligible country, it too must contain a digital photograph and integrated computer chip.
The emergency passport must be machine readable, have a digital photograph, and must contain an integrated computer chip.
A machine-readable passport has two lines of text with letters, numbers and chevrons (<<<<) at the bottom of the personal information page, along with the bearer's picture:
