The U.S. Citizen Services Unit’s assistance includes but is not limited to, Passport services, Notary services, and Consular Reports of Births Abroad. The Consulate General also assists in emergencies, including deaths, arrests and crisis situations.

For U.S. citizens residing or traveling overseas:
The U.S. Citizen Services Unit will not be able to answer questions about visas for the Netherlands, nor for the United States. For visa information for U.S. citizens, please check the State Department Travel Website (Learn about your destination).

Visiting the Consulate General
We are open Monday through Friday 8:30 to 11:30. Visits for services are by appointment only. Every instructions page has a link to the appointment website.
Passport pick-up: Monday through Friday 2:30 to 3:30 PM, (holidays excepted). No appointment is necessary provided you bring a print out of the e-mail informing you your passport is ready for collection.
